I have always loved reading, especially a romance that's based on history and includes a dash of mystery. I am a retired elementary teacher who has wandered the world with my retired military husband. Currently, I live in Western Arizona. When I am not writing, reading, researching, or enjoying visits from my grandchildren, you can find me out in my garden or in my kitchen creating new flavors of fudge that I donate to various charities for fund-raising events.

  In 2012, I traveled to Scotland to research my family ancestry. After I returned home the idea for The King's Blade began to nudge at me. As soon as I finished the project that I was involved in, I began researching and writing The King's Blade.  Soon after I began my Civil War Series and traveling to research and visit a few of the locations in my books.
